Me I'm a Science Geek 8- 5 pm most days, chemistry is my bag.  I run a Children's Science Program in my area...

DoctorSlime's Science Shows http://www.doctorslime.com .  My hobbies are Bonsai, Geocaching  (www.geocaching.com), water gardening, and raising koi (japanese goldfish).  I have an aquarium in my office that will be the home to my koi in the next few days, once it starts to get cold here in Michigan.  Most days, I putter around the lab, read science journals, brew a spot of tea, read, and whip up Chemicals for the Labs I'm in control of before running off to teach chemistry in the evenings.  I'm a huge fan for Brian Lumley, Vincent Price, and HP Lovecraft.  I own a early model Ipod like a G2, and mainly listen to 80's and classical music, with a jaunt into space music, techno, and celtic music from time to time.

I collect beer labels, coasters, and cap from Brews I have sampled or haven't seen, so if you live in an area with local brew pubs I'd love to see your caps, labels, and coasters.  National Brands, I've had my fill of so I only tend to drink speciality Beers when I rarely get the chance.

I collect fossils, rocks with fluorescent minerals and old science gadgets.  I'm kinda a real life mad scientist (about 10%)  both on and off the stage.  I have a small interest in botany, mainly carnivorous plants which I have a few about my office.  I play board games with my kids, right now we are looking for a copy of Block Mania an Old Judge Dredd Mega City game made by games Workshop.  My son made me stand in line late Monday Night 9/24/07 from Mid-night till 1 am to get the New Copy of Halo3 as it came out.  We also play the halo 3 Board game with real cool mini's.

My last big Show for Doctor Slime was at the Michigan State Fair in Detroit , where I got to meet Jennifer Granholm in person and do an experiment with her, we made Elephants toothpaste, and Liquid nitrogen Ice cream for the kids that stopped by that day.  My Next set of shows was Halloween Weekend, I appeared in two places The Saginaw Childrens Zoo, and at Delta College For Sci-fest.  So if you Live in Mid-Michigan come Visit!
